Comments about Banyan Creek TV Lift Cabinet:
The infrared system that makes it possible to operate components while the doors are shut really rocks! Additional relays are available if you need them. (Most people probably will not.)
The area on the top that is in front of the false drawers is perfect for displaying photographs and other items. We do not have to move them to lift or view the TV.
The lift system is quieter than our air conditioning system. It can be configured to automatically turn your TV on when lifting it and to turn it off when lowering it.
The shelves in the outer storage areas have a small diagonal cutout in the outer front corner. Dimensions that indicate that small amount of lost space are omitted from the drawings. Hopefully this has been corrected by the time you read this review.
It is rare to receive such great service. Rob and Sara bent over backwards to help me, which they do very effectively because they really know their product. The same is true for the delivery and installation companies that they partner with.

My wife was tired of looking at our 46" TV so we bought this cabinet. Arrived on time and in perfect condition. Exceeded our expectations in appearence. It is a beautiful piece of furniture. Had the white glove treatment, that person was not experienced in installing TVs and cabling onto lifts (this was his first one) so it took him longer than expected, but he got it done. Had a little trouble getting the IR system to work properly with COMCAST equipment, but worked through that over the first few days and now it works perfectly and we are vey happy with the system.

I was skeptical to buy such an expensive piece of furniture sight unseen over the internet, but was willing to take a chance because the price is sooooo much better than what you can get in a retail store and import advantage's money back guarantee was a great deal of comfort.
However, this is an absolutely beautiful cabinet. We could not be more pleased. Very well made. Works like a charm and we have no regrets over the purchase. If there was one thing I would want Import Advantage to do better it would be more detailed instructions on how to wire electrical components up, ie: a cable box. We struggled with our cable box interfering with the IR system in the cabinet. Still working on it.
